Any Publisher is accepted. No Cadenzas.
It may be noted where some solos can be found, but it is not required that that edition be used.

PLEASE NOTE: 1. Required solos for Junior Region Orchestra are now the same as the
four-year rotating Intermediate All-State Solo list and can be found on this website under
"JHS Orchestra Solos" or at www.NJMEA.org.

2. In order to audition for All-State Intermediate String Orchestra, a student
must be accepted into their respective Region Junior Orchestra.

3. Any student in Grades 9-11 accepted into the Region 1 (North Jersey ) High School Orchestra may audition for the High School All-State Orchestra. Any student in Grades 7-9 accepted into the Region 1 Junior Orchestra may audition for the Intermediate All-State Orchestra; however if a 9 th Grader is accepted into both the HS Region and Junior Region groups, the 9th Grader can only audition for one All-State group of his or her choice, not both.
